Mind Prison by Lorenzo Allen
Our minds have the power to set us free or hold us captive. We all grapple with limiting beliefs, but some of us have tapped into a higher self and seek an even newer version. No matter where you are on this journey, the mind holds the key to freedom. All we need to do is unleash and tap into our unlimited potential.
The question then arises: if our minds can either make or break us, how can we alter our mindset and take the first step toward self-discovery? It requires a shift in perception; we are shaped by the information we consume. Our mind, whether subconsciously or consciously, defines our state of being. Though I am a novice on this topic, we all experience moments of struggle in understanding the fundamentals of higher self-awareness.
Regardless of our backgrounds, the principle remains the same. Goals, dreams, aspirations, and a sense of life's purpose form our core identity. These elements renew, energize, and empower us within the intangible confines of the mind. Let today be the day you embark on self-discovery. In our digital era, we have more information at our fingertips than the President of the United States did 20 years ago.
While we hold the keys to our virtual vehicle of self-awareness, there are also passenger seats for those who wish to join us. Sometimes, we must be brave enough to sit in the driver's seat for the first time, even without a track record of success. Many of us can relate to this feeling. Confidence and success often elude us in the early stages of life.
This message is not for those who have already seen the light at the end of the tunnel. It is for those who have never felt a sense of accomplishment or had the confidence to move forward. Perhaps no one ever told you that you are special, gifted, unique, and intelligent, and that you are the master of your own world. Henry Ford once said, "He who believes he can and he who believes he can't are both correct." No matter how long you've been held captive, today's affirmation is: "I can, I will, I must do whatever it takes to live a fulfilled life, and today I’m walking free."
Free from pain.
Free from hate.
Free from doubt.
Free from lack of self-confidence.
Free to fail (yes, it’s okay to fail—just never stop trying).
Free to give yourself a chance.
Free from seeking the approval of the world.
Remember, your ordinary is someone else's extraordinary. Put yourself out there in the universe; beautiful things are waiting. The more positive energy you send out, the more abundance you attract. This will create a ripple effect.
