Forgiveness

                          FORGIVENESS

"Forgiveness is the intentional and voluntary process by which a victim undergoes a change in feelings and attitude regarding an offence, let's go of negative emotions such as vengefulness with an increased ability to wish the offender well" (Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).

Forgiveness is not always easy, at times, it feels more painful than the wound we suffered, to forgive the one that inflicted it and yet there is no peace without forgiveness.Forgiveness is the best form of love, it takes a strong person to say sorry and an even stronger person to forgive. Remember forgiveness doesn't excuse their behaviour, it prevents their behaviour from destroying your heart

According to the Mayo Clinic, they are numerous benefits that you would gain when you forgive such as improved relationships, decreased anxiety and stress, lower blood pressure and stronger immune and heart health.

Try to forgive the one that hurt you, because it is the only key that unlocks the door of resentment and the handcuff of hatred.
