Can Men and Women be Just friends?

Can a man and a woman be just friends?  Have heard this question being asked on numerous occasions and I have heard various answers. However, I personally think men and women can be friends, however, it is very difficult for the relationship to be entirely platonic, because at one point or the other one party will develop intimate feelings for the other whether it is temporary or permanent.
One can’t control when you fall for each other, but the way you handle falling for either party will definitely shape your relationship. According to an article by Lizette Borelli entitled “Platonic Love or Lust? The Science Behind Men and Women Being Just Friend mentions that a study was done in 2012 and the study found out that majority of opposite-sex friendships, there’s at least a low level of attraction.

According to Stephan Pinto, He outlines that it is not possible especially if the woman is single. He stated that women always do the match-up first for their criteria. He mentions that it  doesn’t matter how long the  woman knows the man; if he is good looking, smart, charming, resourceful, courageous, adventurous, and gainfully employed, she will always wonder what it would be like to be married to him period, ( Can Men Really be  just friends with women by Jene Luciani)

Pablo and Beverly Solomon mention that the only time it works is if both parties are in happy relationships, sexually satisfied at home and there are strong professional or interest reasons to be friends, ( Can Men Really be just friends with women by Jene Luciani).
In addition to that, the Social network MeetMe polled 6,500 of its user and found out that more than half of the people said they have fantasized about sleeping with their best friend of the opposite gender,(Men and Women Can never be friends- but sex has nothing to do with it).

    It's is possible for both to be just friends. Men are not attracted to all women vice versa. There are individuals who made it seem impossible but it is not.
