What kind of man is He?

What kind of man is He?

What kind of man is he?
Left his palace
Come to my hut
My door I shut
But
He stood outside
Calling me to his side.
He said I am his own
But I said leave me alone.
When death sends me an invitation
He replaces my name with his.
I don’t deserve this!
I stood and watch him
Battered,
Shattered.
I even helped to put the
Nail in his hands.
I shouted ‘CRUCIFY HIM’
Yet a look of love was on his face.
I watched the sword danced about his side
And the thorns rejoicing around as the
Blood sweep down his scarlet robe.
Yet he looked at me and said.
‘I love you’
What kind of man is he?
Look what I’ve done to him
I guess he doesn’t see.
Truly, he is the son of God.
