Marry Up

According to dictionary.com,  "Marry up" (Hypergamy) is defined as marrying someone of a higher social class than one's self but my definition of "Marry up" is to marry someone who has the potential and the willingness to enhance your life spiritually, intellectually, physically, financially and emotionally, not necessarily marrying someone of a higher social class.

Marriage is the vehicle that allows us to express the deepest kind of love to one another. It's an institution that is ordained by God, hence "treat your marriage as a gift from God, and let it blossom on the strength of God."( Bill  Graham).
concur with Barbara De Angells that marriage is not a noun, but a verb it isn't something you get, it's something you do and it's the way you love your partner every day.

Therefore, "A glimpse into the magnificent of marriage comes from seeing in God's word that God himself is the great doer. Marriage is His doing, it is from Him and through him." (John Piper). So when you decide to take that journey ensure you are "marrying up"  and you are not settling for ordinary love but a one-of-a-kind love
